Latent Defects Insurance cover can be arranged on almost any type of commercial premises.

LABC Latent Gold is our own unique scheme for commercial properties of up to £15 million in rebuild value, underwritten by Allianz Global Corporate and Specialty, and only available where Local Authority Building Control provides the building control function – this exclusive facility avoids or significantly reduces the cost of additional third party inspections, which would normally be required by insurers.

However, for properties over £15 million or where Local Authority Building Control is not involved, our specialist knowledge extends to other schemes for placing latent defects insurance with insurers.

We can also arrange cover for commercial properties that have already commenced construction or arrange cover for the balance of 10 years if the properties have already achieved practical completion.
